The London Community Woodshop (LCW), a division of Pathways Skill Development, is a place where woodworkers can experiment, learn new techniques and start a business. A space where do it yourselfers can work on a project for their home, and volunteers can gather to build community garden boxes. The Woodshop offers workshops led by local artisans and affordable memberships. LCW is presently recruiting for an enthusiastic and passionate individual to take on the role of the Community Woodshop Summer Assistant. Job Description: The Woodshop Assistant will work with our Woodshop Staff and Volunteers to create a welcoming environment of collaboration, expertise and learning. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and maintain safe usage and upkeep of all tools and machinery
Develop a supportive culture of learning with a passion for woodworking
