Job Details CARFAX Canada is excited to announce that we are looking for a new addition to our growing team in the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist. This role will be instrumental in assisting the People & Operations team in providing best in class full cycle recruitment services to our teams. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will report into the Manager, People and Culture, while working closely and collaborating with your colleagues in the People & Operations team, and people leaders in all departments at CARFAX Canada. You are responsible for understanding the needs of hiring managers, sourcing top talent for the organization, and will be intrinsic in building out key metrics, trends, successes and challenges to report on. You will partner with external vendors, including owning the relationship post-secondary schools for coop placements. You will also lead and participate in employer branding activities and career fairs. You are a resourceful, persistent, problem solver who is adept at sourcing the right talent for the right roles. You provide exceptional and proactive when it comes to consulting with internal and external hiring manager and partners. You thrive in fun, fast paced, and dynamic work environment. You have demonstrated success in managing hard to fill roles and are highly capable in identifying, attracting and hiring for niche or specific skillsets. Position Responsibilities Manage full cycle recruitment activities for all departments Director level and below Develop and innovate sourcing strategies and channels to produce optimal recruitment results Develop and maintain strong relationship with internal hiring managers, and external pipelines of talent Lead and manage external partnerships with key vendors and post-secondary schools for coop placements Develop and recommend key metrics, trends, successes and challenges that should be reported on Lead and support continuous improvement recruitment practices, activities and resources Liaise with the Manager, People & Culture and the People & Performance Partner on hiring needs and updates to job descriptions Manage the employee onboarding experience in collaboration with hiring managers and Internal Operations Lead and support employer branding, awards, and career fairs Develop and maintain recruitment guides as a support tool for hiring managers Create, implement and maintain best practices in Talent Acquisition and Retention Education and experience required: Post-secondary education, college diploma or university degree in Business, Human Resources or related field At least 3 years of prior of recruitment or talent acquisition experience Working knowledge or exposure to automotive, technology or data driven industries considered an asset Requirements Self-directed and ability to pivot in a fast paced, fun, and dynamic environment Proficient in sourcing active and passive talent in the marketplace Strong ability to proactively build and foster relationships both internally and externally Ability to effectively deliver on timelines and work cross functionally Strong focus on continuous improvement and innovative thinking to build new talent solutions Very adept at problem solving and collaborating on optimal solutions Demonstrated ability to analyze and report on key recruitment metrics Strong industry knowledge is an asset Bilingualism (French) is an asset CARFAX Canada’s core values are: Be the solution, embrace change, commit and deliver, and powered by passion.
