Senior Visitor Experience Associate (SVEA) The Senior Visitor Experiences Associate (SVEA) acts as the key point of contact for visitors, staff and volunteers at the London Children’s Museum (CM). The SVEA is responsible for overseeing the safe and effective operation of the CM, ensuring a positive experience for all. Position: Part-time, hourly position with a minimum requirement of one shift per week as Senior Visitor Experience Associate or Visitor Experience Animator. Reports to: Programs & Services Manager Compensation : $14.00-$14.50/hour Key Responsibilities: Provide and model exceptional customer service to all visitors and guests Provide leadership to weekend staff, ensuring the seamless delivery of programs and services Maintain a customer-centred focus by being present and visible to visitors Act as the key contact for maintaining positive customer relations Keyholder position requiring high level of responsibility and problem-solving skills Have a comprehensive understanding of CM emergency policies and procedures Ability to respond to different situations with sound judgement and clear critical thinking Assist in the training, support and supervision of volunteers Support staff by performing front desk and programming activities as required, including reception, telephone calls, admissions and sales Accept other duties as required Skills & Requirements: Enthusiasm for children, families and the experiential learning philosophy practiced by the CM Demonstrated passion for delivering outstanding customer service Experience working with children in a programming environment Ability to lead and work as part of a team Experience supervising staff Proven ability to effectively problem-solve and multi-task Flexibility and willingness to adapt to shifting priorities Child & Infant First Aid and CPR training Valid Vulnerable Sector Check Able to work evenings and weekends The London Children’s Museum welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
