CAREER OPPORTUNITY WITH LONDON BRIDGE CHILD CARE SERVICES Position: Permanent Full Time Director of Human Resources Location: Administrative Offices 550 Fanshawe Park Rd, London Schedule: 40 hours per week, salary Start Date: January 1, 2018 We are a community-based non-profit licensed child care organization that operates early childhood development and education centres. We are looking for a creative, resourceful and responsive Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all areas of Human Resources, including policies, programs and services. With over 350, kind and curious people, working across 15 centres and programs at London Bridge each day, Human Resources plays an integral role as we continue to grow in an environment becoming increasingly more complex. Position Summary As a member of the senior management team, the Human Resources Director demonstrates the values and culture of the organization. They spend their days designing, developing, and implementing systems, initiatives and processes that are in alignment with the overall organization’s strategic plan while advancing the mission and vision of the organization. Working in partnership with all employees to provide programs and services that helps to establish an environment in which people bring their strengths, skills, commitment, interests and passions to serve children, their families and the organization. The Human Resources Director works in close partnership with our HR team including our Recruitment Coordinators and the Payroll and Benefit Administrator. The Director of Human Resources plays an integral role in organizational success with knowledge about and advocacy for employees. People are treated with respect, care and with individual attention. People will c hoose to be motivated, involved, engaged and content in their work. Conducting employees surveys, program leadership involvement, one-on-one meetings, aligning employee supports and the chair of the Human Resources Advisory Panel (HRAP) are ways to bring this forward in the organization. Qualifications To be considered for the role, we are looking for an individual who : Business or accounting diploma/degree or have an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years of related experience Human Resources Designation Preferred. Has strong and effective verbal and written communication skills. Access to vehicle and valid insurance is an asset.
