Associate Registrar – Systems, Training and Project Management (REG 201800204) Office of the Registrar Location: London Employment Group : Admin Type of Position: Full-time Temporary Closing Date: July 23, 2018 Note: This is a full-time Temporary Administrative position (37.5 hours per week) until December 31, 2018. Duties: The Associate Registrar leads the development, maintenance and implementation of enhancements and innovative strategies to all systems within the Office of the Registrar, including the Student Information System, Datatel Student. Working collaboratively with the management team of the Office of the Registrar, Information Technology Division and all Academic areas to support the development of student computer and information systems which meet the needs of our future students, students and all internal and external stakeholders. The Associate Registrar works collaboratively with Deans, Chairs and coordinators to ensure the accuracy and historical records of all credential's curriculum is recorded within Datatel degree audit system. Responsible for overseeing the credential evaluation and overall document preparation for graduation and contributing to the coordination of graduation ceremonies throughout the year. The Associate Registrar leads the development of procedures and business process training tools in collaboration with the Work Team Coordinators, Associate Registrars and Registrar, to ensure all staff within the Office of Registrar has the training, system access and required tools to be successful within their roles. The Associate Registrar provides leadership and tools to ensure we accurately advise and assist students with providing graduate completion information beginning with required curriculum through to assessment of record for program credential. They oversee day to day operations and strategic planning initiatives for these areas. They Work closely with other members of the Registrar's Management Team to ensure appropriate service delivery, with integrity, for the Office of the Registrar. Qualifications: Post-secondary 3 year diploma or degree in a relevant field, including Business Administration, Information Technology & Systems, Education, System Development and business analysis and review Minimum 7 years experience with increasing levels of relevant responsibility, preferably in an educational setting Education/training in job specific areas such as computer skills both within an integrated system and Microsoft office software, project management, statistical analysis, service delivery principles, and business analysis and review Demonstrated experience in computer systems, information management and customer service principles Must be conversant with government and College policies and programs Preference for candidates with Post-secondary - SIS and Project Management experience While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.
