Overhead Crane Service Technician This position requires working at heights to detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions with overhead cranes. Tasks include reading/interpreting blueprints, maps, specifications to repair or replace defective parts, cleaning, lubricating and testing. This job also includes performing other maintenance work, such as operating machining tools to fabricate parts, and preparing reports and documentation to support. Must have a valid driver’s license and available to work overtime and weekends as needed with a mandatory on-call rotation. This is a physically demanding position which requires attention to detail, good hand-eye co-ordination and good troubleshooting skills.
