BlueStone is currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our fun team that is recognized for strong business ethics by the Better Business Bureau’s Integrity Award 2017. Reporting to the Office Property Manager, the Assistant Property Manager’s primary responsibilities are to assist with the management, maintenance, and operation of BlueStone’s commercial office portfolio. The main focus of this position is currently BlueStone's 217,000 square foot class A commercial high-rise building in downtown London. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for all customer service and tenant relations as first point of contact for tenant requests Coordinate maintenance work, property services, and vendors’ activities Monitor Work Order System, create and dispatch service requests to Building Operators Assist as necessary in the coordination, monitoring and administration of property initiatives, including sustainability and environmental initiatives, industry standard certification programs, building maintenance and repairs programs, capital improvement projects, and leasehold improvements Assist in the timely completion of accurate operating budgets, CAM reconciliations Assist in the co-ordination of the emergency response and fire warden training Assist Property Manager in the administration of building service contracts Maintain all necessary databases and files for portfolio, including tenants, contracts, service providers Maintain Tenant insurance certificates and assist with monitoring and requesting insurance and WSIB certificates for Vendors Coordinate divisional purchasing activities Attend to occasional after-hours issues that impact tenant or property services Provide back-up for the front desk Reception if there is an absence REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma preferred 2 years of relevant work experience in commercial real estate required Recently completed or working towards Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation is a plus Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook) Familiarity with accounting software programs Superior interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines Prior management and/or supervisory experience is a plus Must be able to work independently of direct supervision, with minimal direction WHAT WE OFFER Fun and award-winning environment Employee Wellness and Community Initiatives Complimentary underground parking Competitive wages and opportunity for benefits Employee Assistance Plan HOW TO APPLY Please submit your cover letter and resume to firstname.lastname@example.org .
