Violence Against Women Services Elgin County works in partnership with our community to create social change necessary to foster equity and safety in our corner of the world. We deliver 24-hour Drop-In Counselling; 24 Hour Community Help Line; 24 Hour Emergency Shelter; Community Based Care & Counselling for women who have been abused, women who have been sexually assaulted, and children who have witnessed abuse; Family Court Support; and Prevention Through Education programs. Help is immediate, respectful, and compassionate. Each year over 2,000 people find the help they seek.
