Job Description

INDUSTRIAL AUTOMOTIVE QUALITY SPRAY AND/OR POWDER COAT PAINTER

Successful candidates should have extensive experience with "two part" automotive finishes, clear coat and powder coat. Painting heavy construction machinery and associated parts to exacting quality standards of finish and colour. Tending and operation of related paint equipment, with other duties as reasonably required.

We work four, ten hour shifts, Monday to Thursday, or Tuesday to Friday, with overtime as required.

Your resume should include; details of current and prior employment; skills and ability. Applicable training and experience concerning spray painting to quality automotive standard of finish and colour, as well as related painting skills.

Rates of pay based on demonstrated qualifications as an industrial spray painter $21.54 to $25.12. Probation period of 700 hours worked, then benefits as follow;

PAINTER - Automotive Quality - Two Part and  Powder Coat Automotive Quality Paint Systems

  • Successful candidates will have extensive experience with "two part" and/or powder coat.
  • Able to demonstrate the painting of heavy construction machinery, associated parts and assemblies, to exacting "automotive" quality standards of finish and colour.
  • You are trained in the application of catalyzed or polymerized paints; the tending and operation of specific paint equipment to prepare and apply paint or powder; the use and maintenance of spray guns in the application of protective and decorative coatings; touch-up; preparation and application of other items on finished equipment when required.
