We are seeking talented UX/UI designers who are also really awesome people to work with. This opportunity is a 12-month (renewable) full-time contract open to entry-level and intermediate designers.
An inspiring workspace in a trendy, heritage building located in the downtown core of London, Ontario
Together with our senior consultants, you will co-design clickable prototypes that assist corporate innovation teams in their quests for new business opportunities, or to transform into a more customer-centric culture.
You’re a designer who specializes in simple and intuitive websites or applications while maintaining an extremely high standard of design. You love the challenge of thinking through problems and how design can solve real-world challenges.
Most importantly, you are always hungry for feedback that grows and improves your work. You care about the process and creating amazing work. Your work is your baby, but you’re not overly emotional about new ideas or radical changes.
You should have several portfolio examples of work. Sketches, mind-maps and process examples welcome.
We’re looking for someone with an innovation-centric and design-forward mindset. Hopefully, you’re it!
1-6 years of digital design experience (websites, applications, style guides, etc.) or equivalent education
Bonus design skills that would be great? Data visualizations, graphics, branding, presentation design, etc.
Extensive knowledge in applicable design software. (Sketch or Adobe XD, Principle / Framer / ProtoPie, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
Good understanding of the development process and how the web works (able to communicate with developers)
Ability to work fast and manage trade-offs when faced with short deadlines
Ability to clearly communicate your thoughts with both peers and clients
Ability and confidence to take ownership of projects
Passionate about UI/UX (You are a perfectionist whose only constraint is time)
No ego — a willingness to admit you don’t know everything
Located in London, Ontario or willing to travel when required to work on-site
We don’t want to micro-manage our designers, so being trustworthy and hardworking is a must. We’re working on some incredible projects and would love to have another designer to dive in and help with our growing workload.
Salary range to be determined based on candidate’s experience and portfolio of work.
