As a result of growth, we are currently seeking a full-time Construction Project Coordinator to drive projects forward.
SUMMARY Reporting to the Project Development Manager, the Construction Project Coordinator will perform a range of administrative and technical duties from project start-up to close-out contributing to successful on-time and on-budget project delivery in accordance with client objectives and BlueStone’s corporate values.
DUTIES
Assist with scope development, quoting, cost estimates, identifying lead times and availability of materials & labour
Assist with shop drawing updates, reviews, managing, tracking, & coordinating of documents
Assist with the collection and administration of contractor paperwork and certifications
Collect and provide document turnover, manuals and warranties to the operations team at completion of project
Assist with preparation and tracking of purchase orders and invoices
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or college diploma preferred in project or construction management or business-related curriculum
1-2 years of work experience in project management or construction administration
Prior management/supervisory experience an asset
Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel and/or accounting software preferred
Excellent time management, driven ability to meet deadlines, and to work independently of direct supervision
Understanding or working knowledge of The Ontario Building Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ontario Regulation 213/91
Strong creative problem-solving skills
