As a result of growth, we are currently seeking a full-time Construction Project Coordinator to drive projects forward.

SUMMARY
Reporting to the Project Development Manager, the Construction Project Coordinator will perform a range of administrative and technical duties from project start-up to close-out contributing to successful on-time and on-budget project delivery in accordance with client objectives and BlueStone’s corporate values.

DUTIES
  • Assist with scope development, quoting, cost estimates, identifying lead times and availability of materials & labour
  • Assist with shop drawing updates, reviews, managing, tracking, & coordinating of documents
  • Assist with the collection and administration of contractor paperwork and certifications
  • Collect and provide document turnover, manuals and warranties to the operations team at completion of project
  • Assist with preparation and tracking of purchase orders and invoices

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma preferred in project or construction management or business-related curriculum
  • 1-2 years of work experience in project management or construction administration
  • Prior management/supervisory experience an asset
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel and/or accounting software preferred
  • Excellent time management, driven ability to meet deadlines, and to work independently of direct supervision
  • Understanding or working knowledge of The Ontario Building Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act and Ontario Regulation 213/91
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills
