Supervisor of Custodial Services
ASSOCIATION OF BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS (NON-UNION EMPLOYEE GROUP)
GROUP “6” – FULL TIME POSITION

 
A demonstrated leader with team organizing abilities in a unionized environment, you will coordinate/execute effective custodial activities, supervise, support and train staff, scheduling, supply requests, security issues and building reviews. You will ensure buildings are maintained in accordance with our policies, procedures and legislated acts and regulations. 
  
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • 5 years recent Supervising experience in building operations/maintenance
  • Post-secondary education in a related field
  • Knowledge of custodial systems and procedures, building finishes, fire alarms, mechanical (HVAC) and electrical systems
  • Knowledge of pertinent codes and legislation related to custodial services  
  • Service oriented with strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Computer proficient
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel within the LDCSB district are required
