Property Administrator – Condominiums, Residential Rentals & Commercial Properties
With over 40 years in the Property Management industry, Parkside Property Management is a versatile company that offers management services for a broad range of properties. Residential rental properties, condominiums, industrial/commercial centres, and retail outlets have all formed a part of our diverse market portfolio.

Our London, Ontario office is currently recruiting for a Property Administrator.  This is a full time, permanent position consisting of 37.5 hours per week.

Reporting to the Controller and Property Managers, the incumbent will provide administrative support relating to the day-to-day operations of a real estate portfolio, consisting of Condominium, Commercial and Residential Rental properties, while ensuring that all clerical and customer service components are handled effectively.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Property Manager and Controller;
  • Accounts payable - the invoice and payable process includes cheque matching, general ledger coding, proofing, vendor payments, mailing cheques etc.
  • Accounts receivable – ensuring collection of monthly condominium fees and commercial/residential rents and follow governed/industry guidelines to collect on delinquent accounts;
  • Calculation and adjustments of annual CAM & Tax accounts for Commercial properties;
  • Process and remittance of monthly/quarterly payroll source deductions and HST payments;
  • Responds to and resolves day-to-day requests/concerns relating to service and tenants/owners;
  • Coordinate service calls and follow-up with tenants, contractors and owners accordingly;
  • Complete Status Certificates for Condominium sales/purchases
  • Other duties as may be assigned or required from time to time


Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Preference of 2+ years’ experience in a similar accounting or property management role; however not required
  • Experience in the day-to-day operations of commercial, retail, industrial and condominium property management;
  • Exceptional people skills and exhibiting a high level of professionalism;
  • Proficient PC skills (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Knowledge and experience working with Yardi Property Management software will be considered an asset;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented;
  • Capacity to learn easily and ability to work with little supervision;
  • Solid working knowledge of office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machine, postage machine) and ability to troubleshoot problems;
  • Familiarity with the Condominium Act, Ontario and the Landlord Tenant Board with relation to the position;
  • Limited or General License holder with the CMRAO – Condominium Management Regulatory of Ontario, or willing to obtain;
