Administrative Assistant

Reporting to the Vice President Business Development and Regulatory Affairs, this new role is ideal for someone who is energetic, self-directed, very organized and who enjoys a wide variety of responsibilities and likes to learn new things.


In this role you will be responsible for

  • Point of contact for incoming calls, respond to e-mails or messages and redirect enquiries to the appropriate person or department

  • General office administration

  • Organize and promote the timely and efficient flow of information between administration, production and various external partners

  • Assist with marketing and sales initiatives

  • Coordinate Fundraising and Donation Programs

  • Coordinate OH&S meetings and record minutes

  • Organize and manage staff events

  • Provide administrative support to managers and owners on recruitment initiatives

  • Plan, manage and execute special projects and initiatives as assigned

  • Liaison and build strong relationships within the company, across teams, customers and suppliers

  • Provide administrative support to Sales, Operations and Purchasing

  • Develop and implement strategies and initiatives  that improve processes and procedures to improve company performance and support organizational goals and objectives

  • Other duties as assigned



  • College Diploma or university degree in  Administration, Business or related area is preferred

  • A minimum of 3 years’ office administration experience required

  • Excellent administrative skills

  • Customer focused with excellent customer service skills with the ability to create and build rapport, relationships and partnerships quickly

  • Self-motivated  with an ability to prioritize, multitask and work well under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal  and communication skills

  • Comfortable with technology and strong computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Good analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Keen eye for detail

  • Able to work independently, anticipate needs and work as part of a team

  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to shift priorities quickly

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for learning
