Job summary

The main responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to provide assistance in all aspects of the warehouse where required.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Review delivery due list as needed each day (Back-up)
  • Assign appropriate Carriers to pick list (Back-up)
  • Collect count and pack each customer order according to 401N picking process. Ensuring load dates are met
  • Goods issue outgoing orders in SAP as well as any ASNs required
  • Record incoming returns and forward to Supervisor for final processing
  • Perform cycle counts daily ( back up)
  • Operate Shipping systems to process shipments for Canada and the US
  • Prepare customs paperwork for export shipments outside Canada
  • Verify and receive inbound material into SAP. Ensuring everything meets Vendor requirements and matches purchase order
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Ensure incoming stock is rotated (first in first out)
  • Other duties as assigned by DC Manager
  • Ensure requirements of the JPI Quality Management System are followed
  • Ensure all applicable Health & Safety Management System policies & procedures and Environmental (ISO 14001) Management System policies & procedures are followed
Education (diploma, degree, professional designation)
  • Minimum High School diploma

  • 1-2 years previous warehouse experience

Knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs):
  • Fork truck experience is a must
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment with high priority on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Basic computer skills are an asset
