The Product Manager analyzes market and competitive conditions, laying out a product vision that is differentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands. The Product Manager continually analyzes data and business intelligence from various internal and external sources, and uses this data to inform and drive the evolution of our product roadmap. They are responsible for many activities from strategic to tactical, and lead cross-functional teams from a product’s conception all the way through to it’s launch. This role will be reporting to the Director of Product Management.
What we’d like you to do:
Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and competitive environment, including how to position our products for each marketplace, the definition of market problems and of market segments
Manage the execution of the product vision and strategy with a focus within a 3-month rolling window.
Collaborate with the Director of Product on development of the product roadmap and prioritize building what matters most to achieve strategic goals and initiatives
Define what the product team delivers and when, creating a project timeline and schedule for implementation
Define the requirements for each feature and the desired user experience
Work closely with Development leadership on technical specifications and ensure teams have all the information they need to deliver a complete product to market
Define the release process and coordinate all of the activities required to release a product to market.
Clearly articulate business value to the product team and other relevant stakeholders, so they understand the intent behind a new product or product release
Lead cross-functionally to bridge gaps between different functions within the company, aligning all of the teams involved
Manage dependencies in and across releases to complete release phases and milestones.
Ensure that feedback and requests are seamlessly integrated into the product planning and development processes
Communicate the status of ideas back to the customers, partners, and internal team members who submitted them.
Provide source data for product line communications by defining product marketing communication objectives

You should be someone who is/has:
5+ years of product management and/or related experience
Tech savvy and passionate about building products
Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
Comfortable using collaboration and CRM tools such as Slack, JIRA, ProductBoard, Asana, and Salesforce
Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information
Experience with best practice agile scrum development, lean product management techniques, and lean startup principles
Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers, market experts, and our users
Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties
Subject matter expert/industry experience a strong plus
