Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Trudell Medical Limited has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join a fast-paced, dynamic team of professionals.

Trudell Medical Limited, through its subsidiaries, develops, manufactures, and delivers health care products and services worldwide. The company offers proprietary aerosol drug delivery devices and systems for a global customer base in sectors including surgery, respiratory therapy, critical care and nursing. The Payroll and Benefits Administrator will report to the Manager, Payroll and Benefits at the Corporate offices located in London, Ontario.

Responsibilities include:
  • Administer and process bi-weekly payroll for salary, hourly and on-call employees for the Trudell Medical Group of Companies
  • Process pay adjustments, retroactive and vacation calculations and payments
  • Maintain payroll related data files including electronic files in the HRIS system
  • Process Record of Employment forms
  • Process employee pension enrolments and contribution changes
  • Process employee benefit enrolment forms and changes
  • Assist with distributing T4s in a timely manner
About you:
  • You have a post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent
  • You have a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certificate through the Canadian Payroll Association or are working towards completion
  • You have a minimum 3 years relevant work experience with expertise in payroll and benefit administration
  • You have a high level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • You have exceptional customer focus
  • You have advanced skills in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office applications and Excel (experience with Avanti HRIS systems a plus)
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • You can work in a fast-paced environment addressing multiple needs and competing priorities
