Job Description

TWR Canada is looking for a part-time Communications Assistant to join our London Office. This paid (24 hours/week – with the potential for full-time depending on the skills) position is responsible for supporting the communications activities of TWR Canada. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the coordination of all general TWR Canada events, the oversight of social media and digital marketing campaigns as well as a variety of other administrative tasks which will ensure the mission of TWR Canada is clearly communicated with existing and potential donors, churches and partners. This position will be a resource directly to the communications manager and indirectly to the TWR Canada leadership team, upholding the organization’s mission and vision, positively promoting the organization and adhering to set standards.

TWR Canada works globally in 70 countries and in over 50 languages, with our broader partnerships covering 190 countries and 230 languages. Using on air, online and on the ground communications and media, we assist the local church to share the message of salvation among the nations. We focus on using the most appropriate media for the people we are seeking to reach. In some areas, this means we use radio, while in other areas the internet or smartphone apps better serve the audience. In other more remote places, we are able to load content onto micro SD cards and we use portable media players to get the gospel into the hands of those who so desperately need to hear it.
