Job Posting: Financial Assistant
Permanent, Full time (40 hours/week)
CTS promotes inclusion and assisting society’s most vulnerable citizens, by providing a full range of back-office supports to not-for-profit organizations. These include Finance management and reporting, AR, AP, Billing, Payroll, IT, HR, and Executive services. We manage 40 million in funding, over 1,000 employees providing support to over 1,500 people in the community.

CTS is looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Finance Department as Financial Assistant.

As a key member of the team, you will provide exceptional customer service to our member agencies, taking a lead role in billing, and assisting in all areas of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Accounting or related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience, in a finance role
  • Customer service experience
  • Interest and involvement in the community

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with;
    • Billing and invoicing
    • Accounts Payable
    • Payroll
  • Exposure to Avanti, CARM, GP Dynamics and/or Crystal Reports

Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments to meet intractable deadlines
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Strong computer skills, especially Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
