Position Overview:
Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Technical Analyst will play a key role in maintaining the computing environment by providing onsite network, hardware and software system support; identifying system improvements; installing and configuring systems; and monitoring system performance

Primary Responsibilities

  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; participating in professional associations.
  • Protects Company value by keeping information confidential;
  • Provide training for end users on software, hardware and services;
  • Maintains quality results by establishing, following and enforcing standards;
  • Document high level processes and information system schematics;
  • Monitor and audit critical information systems;
  • Provide a level of operational support for fleets vehicles and their services;
  • Provide a high level of technical support, answering support queries via phone/email//remote assistance/onsite related to informational systems;
  • Evaluate, test, and implement solutions for enhancing software, hardware, network and IT processes;

  • Excellent, strong proven customer service experience
  • Available to work flexible hours, occasionally outside regular business hours (must be available for on-call IT support)
  • Able to prioritize and work with deadlines
  • Self-motivation
  • Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • CCNA, CCNP, VCP, MCSE designations preferred
  • Related education (Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma)
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience preferred

Knowledge & Skill Requirements:
  • Proven abilities to mulit-task and prioritize
  • Able to work well independently as well as being a strong team member
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
  • Experience developing, managing and owning the service ticket process
  • Experience in working with GPO and Active Directory containers
  • Experience in working with SQL Server
  • Experience in working with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience technically supporting Windows systems
  • Strong knowledge of virtualized environments
  • Advanced knowledge of networking fundamentals (Cisco, VPN, Firewalls)
