Job Description

Finance Coordinators (Full time and Part-time contract)
Mission Services of London has openings for a 40 and a 20 hours a week Contract Finance Coordinator positions. This position reports to the Director of Finance, 
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts receivable and accounts payable, in a fund accounting environment
  • Prepare and post journal entries and month-end accruals
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Manage and reconcile petty cash funds
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet general ledger account reconciliations
  • Assist with annual budget process and reporting
  • Provide back up support for other members of the Finance Team
  • College Diploma with certificate in accounting or equivalent combination of  experience/education
  • 2-3 years experience in an office setting working with accounting and payroll systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite with strong Excel computer skills
  • Strong knowledge of a recognized accounting software package; Microsoft Dynamics GP and Quadrant knowledge is an asset
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Act in accordance and harmony with the Mission Statement and Statement of Faith of Mission Services of London
  • French Language Skills an asset
