Position/Title: CATHETER ASSEMBLER


Department: Production
Number of Positions: 1 - Full Time 
Start Date:  Immediately
Location:   London, Ontario

Transonic Scisense Inc. is a Canadian company based in London, Ontario.  We specialize in the design and manufacturing of micro-sensing devices used for comprehensive assessment of physiological parameters.  Our products are found in both educational facilities and pharmaceutical laboratories worldwide.  Specifically, our pressure and pressure-volume sensing catheters are rapidly becoming a gold standard for quantifying indices of cardiac function. Transonic Scisense Inc. is seeking a qualified individual with high standards to join our production team.
 

Job Description:

  • Follow detailed manufacturing procedures and drawings to assemble microscopic components under a microscope
  • Able to learn to produce a consistent product of the highest level of quality
  • Possessing patience and persistence to see task to completion
  • Self motivated and able to take initiative
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be well organized, a team player and enjoy multi-tasking
 

Essential Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak English, read English and write English
  • Detail OrientedAbility to plan and organize effectively and independently
  • Documented proof of completion of High School or GED
  • Willingness to multi-task and meet production goals as identified
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Strong work ethic
  • Superior hand/eye coordination with delicate parts
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience performing detailed tasks working under a microscope  
  • Experience in soldering would be an asset
  • Electronics background and or experience would be considered an asset
  • Experience using tooling for small assembly such as micro circuits in hearing aids.
