                                                           Job Posting – 2 Positions Human Resources Coordinators LOCATION:                             Good Beginnings’ Administrative Office (871 Dundas St., Woodstock ON)
START DATE:                          August 2020
HOURS:                                   35 hours per week
RATE OF PAY:                         $21.00/hour (this may be adjusted according to experience/credentials)

As a Full-Time Permanent Employee of Good Beginnings, after a successful probationary period, you will be entitled to:

POSITION SUMMARY
Good Beginnings Day Nursery Woodstock Inc. is seeking to hire two (2) exceptional individuals to fulfill the Human Resources Coordinator full-time permanent roles.   These positions, under the direction of the Director of Finance and Human Resources, will primarily be responsible for:
  • Updating and maintaining accurate and complete electronic & hard copy personnel records in accordance with applicable legislation
  • Full cycle recruitment including;
    • Reviewing hiring requirements with site Supervisors
    • Preparing job postings, screening/selection, conducting interviews, extending contracts
    • Conducting regular orientation of new hires and organize onboarding
    • Completing 3 month probationary reviews in collaboration with site Supervisors
  • Implementing employee/personnel programs, including skills development training and health and safety programs
  • Organizing and facilitating ongoing training for all employees
  • Benefit administration including enrollments, terminations, changes, etc.
  • Collaborating with payroll team regarding vacation entitlements and inquiries from employees
  • Other HR duties to assist Director of Finance and Human Resources as required

QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking 2 friendly, energetic and professional individuals who possess the following qualifications; 
  • Post-secondary Diploma or Degree or currently studying in the field of Human Resources
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant Human Resources experience i.e. recruiting, hiring, training, administration
  • Experience in Human Resources within the child care field would be an asset
  • Exceptional computer skills; proof of excellency in all Microsoft Office applications especially Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to adapt to various in-house software programs
  • Strong organizational skills and proven ability to manage multiple projects required
  • Ability to complete full cycle recruitment process
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure, handle heavy volumes and meet demanding deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail necessary
  • Current Standard First Aid, including infant and child CPR
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal Reference check including Vulnerable Sector Check, acceptable to Good Beginnings
