Information Technology Supervisor
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Information Technology Supervisor will be instrumental in implementing and maintaining the IT infrastructure. This role will collaborate with all stakeholders, provide excellent customer service, and will promote a solutions environment.
Description
Promote a Health and Safety, Food Safety, and GMP culture
A focus on a Lean Culture that promotes performance by analyzing data to reduce waste, inefficiencies, while improving working conditions
Manage IT systems and ensure recovery plans are in place
Manager cyber security, capacity planning, and storage requirements
Manage Aspire’s social media platforms
Create clear standards, KPI’s, and policies ensuring all regulatory requirements are met
Accountable for all IT budgetary requirements, Inventory forecast, ordering equipment, price negotiations
Manager all IT equipment including all audit requirements
Ensure compliance with PIPEDA, clear understanding of applicable IT laws
Build a strong infrastructure to create, process, and store electronic data
Ensure immediate corrective action is taken to ensure customer expectations and demands are met
Foster positive relationships with external vendors, regulatory bodies, and employees
Participate and promote a new hire experience. Order equipment, provide access, and participate in training
Work closely with Production and manage IT requirements
Ensure discrepancies/errors are investigated and resolved quickly. Escalate for resolution where appropriate
Develop and maintain SOPs, forms, policies, and procedures
Ensure compliance and participate in internal and external audits (BRC/SQF)
Provide guidance to direct reports. Complete performance reviews. Coach, mentor and advise employees
Requirements
Minimum 5 years experience working as a Supervisor or Manager in a technical support role
University or College degree with a focus on IT Infrastructure
Experience with NetSuite is considered an asset
Knowledge of plant start up
In-depth knowledge of operating systems, held desk software, and IT security
You have a clear focus and understanding on Project Management
You will develop Lean practices and principals
Willing to be trained in different levels of Lean
You can clearly communicate with all levels within Aspire Foods
Excellent organization, time management skills
You have a strong attention to detail, clearly communicate both written and verbal
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Able to work within a team with strong interpersonal skills to include leadership and collaborative influence skills
Minimal travel, drivers’ licence is required
If required, you can work outside of your normal work schedule
You can stand for long periods of time, use of a respirator, bend, twist, kneel, and work in extreme cold when required
