CSP Medical has an immediate opening for a Contract Customer Service Representative to fill a maternity leave.

Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for handling customer inquiries. Some of these tasks including interacting with customers over the phone and/or via email and social media. Throughout all interactions the Customer Service Representatives must maintain a high level of professionalism and present the organization in the best light possible. Each interaction affects the company’s bottom line in either a positive or negative way.

Job Responsibilities

  • Field questions and comments by phone/fax/e-mail from customers
  • Efficiently arrange for and provide answers or feedback to customers as required
  • Gather information from suppliers, internal resources and CSP staff as required
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding customer sentiment
  • Issue RMA’s as required (confirm with management if unsure)
  • Provide timely and accurate price quotations to all customers within 24 hours where at all possible
  • Verify all package and special discounts with management
  • Provide product and delivery information as required.
  • Suggest extra and/or alternative products to meet the customer’s needs
  • Repair quotations to be completed and coordinate with warehouse coordinator
  • Track order status and keep customer informed of exceptions
  • Assist the Marketing Department as directed
  • Maintain and update contact database with new customers, changes, and deletions
  • Process and follow-up trade show lead requests that are received from suppliers
  • Coordinate sending loaner/ demo units to interested customers.
  • Maintain and update the trade-in summary listing
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
  • Mathematical proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office (database experience is an asset).
  • A self-motivating, positive attitude with an ability to work well alone and in a team environment.
