JOB DESCRIPTION

Program Coordinator Assistant

Hours: 35 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $14.25


Job Summary

This position will assist the Hamilton Road Business Improvement Area (BIA) with the development and

execution of the organizational Strategic Plan priorities, outcomes and tasks for 2021. The candidate will

assist the Program Coordinator in preparing and executing the projects in the Hamilton Road BIA

Strategic Plan that include but are not limited to; the coordination and development of a community safety

audit, assist in beautification initiatives and create Development Package to stimulate investment in the

area. The ideal candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, administration

skills, knowledge of business and the ability to research well. The individual will report to the Program

Coordinator and its Board of Management.

Administrative Skills

? Able to write well in several styles (reports, presentations)

? Research abilities

? Ability to create visually appealing documents

? Data entry skills


Business Acumen

? Knowledge of small business and its positives and challenges

? Knowledge of investment and real estate

? Ability to work well independently or within a team

? Organized and detail oriented

? Coachable and take direction well

? Excellent written and verbal communication skills

? Knowledge of business and the Hamilton Road community is an asset
