Reporting to the Sales Director/Management, the Sales Account Executive will have a strong understanding of the sales process, excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. Strong negotiating skills, and the ability to showcase the Company’s offerings in a compelling way. Giving presentations, attending networking events, and attending trade shows, are ongoing expectations. Always presenting oneself as personable and professional in both appearance and attitude is imperative for success in this role.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes in accordance with the Sales Commission Structure.
Influence and execute sales promotions and sales strategies to increase revenue.
Identify customers wants and needs and build a roadmap to success with the help of a Lead Assessment team.
New, proactive business development activities to source new potential customers.
Attend networking events to drive promotion of Consys brand and new business opportunities including obtaining, logging, and following up with new contacts i.e., London Chamber of Commerce, Educational Industry events, Memberships – LDCA, TechAlliance, LEA and others that Consys may join.
Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports monthly through building individual strategy plan with your Sales Manager.
Customer Relationship, Service and Management
Service existing accounts: act as the point of contact for client’s needs, concerns and problems, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
Organize regular client meetings to discuss their requirements.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
Introduce Assessment Technical Service team to clients, and organize a security network assessment.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction via service.
Conduct weekly presentations to management/sales manager to review past months results and next month’s plans. Format will be predetermined by your Sales Manager.
Record Keeping/Account Management
Learn Zomentum (Consys CRM) and enter 20-25 new clients into Zomentum weekly.
Ensure existing customers I.T. solutions are current and up to current Consys / best practice standards, which includes quoting new hardware/solutions as needed through the use of Zomentum (Consys CRM).
Track and submit commissions accurately every month through the use of Connect Wise with support of Accounting Department.
Keep up to date on Consys’s latest offerings and business initiatives by attending all training sessions i.e., role plays with peers, coaching and sales meetings.
Monitor and report on sales performance analytics from Consys CRM & Microsoft Teams.
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments e.g., Daily Sales meetings and Microsoft Teams collaboration.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
Passion for sales and the ability to demonstrate required skills to complete sales from start to finish.
Conscientious with great attention to detail.
Ability to work well independently as well as in a team.
Excellent organization and time management abilities, including self motivation.
Technologically literate and confident using various software applications and platforms related to business operations and specifically sales activities (eg: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CRM’s).
Well-developed oral and written communication skills necessary for influential conversations and report, proposal, and presentation creation/writing.
Savvy with regards to business communications including the ability to write clear and professional e-mails to potential customers and see the customer relationship through from quote to contract.
Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive, collaborative work relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Utilizes Emotional Intelligence to lead self and others in the delivery of exceptional service and results while upholding the Company’s values.
Bilingualism in English and French and Knowledge of London and Surrounding area considered an asset.
This position operates out of an office environment with moderate exposure to mental demands and psychological effort related to overall functional/departmental responsibility, concentration, and people management. The role has limited exposure to and minimal requirements for physical demands related to routine sitting, standing, walking, computer operation and handling of workplace documentation.
