Job Description

STIHL Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of ANDREAS STIHL AG & Co. KG in Germany, is a leader in the distribution of chain saws and handheld outdoor power equipment in Canada.  We have an immediate opening at our London head office for a full-time Accounts Receivable & Customer Service Administrator.  This dual role supports our Credit and Customer Service Departments, spending 50% of the day in each.

 Accounts Receivable responsibilities include:
 
  • Send out new dealer packages, following up as required and creating new dealer files with all required documentation
  • Initiate credit investigations
  • Set up new customers in our ERP system
  • Conduct collection calls to our  dealers for payment of past due invoices
  • Respond to requests from dealers for invoices/statements
  • Assist with researching outstanding miscellaneous amounts on dealers’ accounts
  • Investigate pricing issues with our on line store - Stihl Direct
  • Process new dealer and change information forms and prepare supporting letters such as welcome letter, credit limit letter and training Invitations
  • Be responsible for all dealer files, keeping them up to date
  • Post payments to dealer accounts

 Customer Service responsibilities include:
 
  • Review and release dealer orders
  • Other dealer related transaction processing as required
  • Processing orders for our dealers
  • Answering phone calls from our dealers assisting them with tracking shipments, processing pricing & stock corrections and navigating our business to business system
  • Keying in faxed orders
  • Responsible for product certificate redemption and credits to dealers

Skills & Qualifications include:
 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a busy environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, initiative and versatility are essential
  • Two plus years’ experience working in an Accounts Receivable capacity would be an asset
  • Two plus years’ experience working in a Customer Service role would be an asset
