King’s University College Students’ Council General Manager - Job Reference #202204-03

DESCRIPTION:

Reporting to the Dean of Students with joint supervision with the President of King’s University College Student Council, (KUCSC) the successful candidate will be required to:

• Serve as recording secretary, information and office coordinator for KUCSC
• Maintain all official records and files for KUCSC and serve as a bookkeeper of the KUCSC, overseeing its financial operations and
• Be responsible for maintaining financial records, regular reporting of financial position of KUCSC and handling financial matters particular to the orientation program and The King's Connection (student store)
• Assist VP Finance with the budgeting and reviewing of the monthly Activity Fee
• Be directly responsible for the King's Connection employee(s), sales targets and overall
• Be responsible for risk management review (general and financial) of activities sponsored by KUCSC and student
• Maintain information technology and office

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (unless identified as preferred):

• College Diploma with a Business Certificate
• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
• Microsoft Office experience
• 3-5 years of progressively more responsible appointments
• Experience with student organizations or community organizations is an
• Ability to work with student volunteers and employees as well as administration
• Mature judgement and good problem solving and research skills required
• Ability to assist in the consolidation of varied points of

SALARY RANGE:

SSG 6: $44,287 - $53,958 per annum, dependent on experience (under grading review)
