Job Description

Fundraising and Administrative Manager

Location:  Hybrid  - London, Ontario and remote
Compensation: $53,000 - 60,000 12-month contract
Flexible scheduling
Start Date:  June 2022


Objective
To develop and implement a long-term fundraising strategy and plan of action.  Develop and implement marketing strategies.  Equip board members and volunteers with tools to implement the strategies developed.

Responsibilities

Working closely with the Board and Fundraising committee

  • Manage all aspects of the fundraising process to develop and maintain a diversified revenue stream to support the organization’s mission and budget

  • Research, identify, develop and follow through with new fundraising opportunities

  • Develop solicitation, stewardship, recognition and retention plans for sponsors and donors

  • Develop a plan of action to ensure fundraising opportunities are executed

  • Marketing / Communications, social media, public awareness

  • Volunteer support, provide support to board members and volunteers regarding fundraising and promotion, membership engagement

 Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, certificate or related experience in fundraising or a related field of study

  • Experience in successful fund development for a not-for-profit organization

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to connect with diverse range of people, interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills, ability to structure daily work activity with minimal supervision
