About Us
The Western Communications team provides strategic advice to university senior leadership, faculty, staff and teams of internal and external communications staff across Western in order to build the university’s brand on a local, national and global scale.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Analyst will be a key contributor in our strategic analysis of online behavior by collecting, interpreting and analyzing data, and generating actionable insights to support reputation building and international marketing efforts. Through the identification of new data sources, analysis of data, and the development of comprehensive reports, this role will form an integral part of our performance management, investment optimization, and planning processes. The Analyst will work with key internal and external stakeholders to optimize our data and reporting structure, while proactively identifying new and innovative ways to enhance our data management, analysis and insight capabilities. The role will analyze a large variety of internal and external data, conduct marketing and student recruitment campaign analysis, and formulate reports, summarizing data to clearly communicate the effectiveness of initiatives. The Analyst will implement, measure, and report on multiple sources of information to build a unified view of our client journey across multiple touch-points of engagement, which will enable Western to optimize student recruitment, conversion and retention, promote our successes, events and offerings, and increase brand awareness.
