Job Description

London Training Centre has an immediate full-time permanent position of Trainer.

The primary role of the Trainer is facilitating group-training sessions at our location and offsite, preparing training materials for certificate courses and private training for groups. London Training Centre is a Canadian Red Cross Training Partner and Instructor Development Centre. Special preference will be given to candidates that currently hold First Aid Instructor Certification.


The position of Trainer will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:
 
  • Ability to be adaptable and professional in a dynamic and changing workplace.
  • Instruct participant’s individually and in groups, using a variety of delivery methods and training techniques. Training Programs included First Aid, Safe Food Handling, Smart Serve, WHMIS, Worker Health & Safety, Customer Service, and Red Cross Babysitter & Stay Safe Courses.
  • Deliver all curriculums according to the content and organizational standards of the program.
  • Ensure quality training through effective monitoring and assessment of the participant’s skills compared to defined standards.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle.
  • Demonstrated ability to use different technology for the purposes of instruction.

The Ideal Candidate:

Will have a post-secondary degree and previous facilitation/teaching experience. Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
