Day Camp Inclusion Counsellors-Seasonal

(Monday to Friday)

The successful candidate(s) for this position will possess the following qualifications:

• Experience required supervising children with disabilities and providing support 1:1 or 2:1 ratio in a camp environment
• Completed/currently enrolled in related education in the area of intellectual disabilities (D.S.W, C.Y.W or equivalent) and/or a demonstrated interest is an asset
• Current First Aid & C.P.R. certification required
• High Five Certification in Principles of Healthy Child Development 100 required
• Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance issued by local police station, within 3 months of offer of employment, required
• P.I or P.M.A.B. certification required
• Basic swimming skills an asset
• NLS certification, and Full G Driver’s License an asset
• Required to attend the All Kids in Camp training in June 2018
• Tentative start date: June 22, 2018 – Part-time hours available prior to summer
