Job Description

This position is responsible for the preparation, data entry and processing of CDN and US payroll and benefits.  Along with the maintenance of emplyee payroll information.

Responsibilities Include:
-Input payroll data each pay period ensuring all information is accurate and authorized.
-Enter and verify new hires, status changes and benefits along with approvals.
-Work with ADP on setting up U.S states for tax remittances.
-Oganize and circulate documents on payroll/benefits as required and maintain all files.
-Prepare payroll and benefit journal entries and accruals.
-Review payroll and benefit invoices and create for A/P.
-Work with ADP on Record of Employments.
-Prepare T-4's and W-2's at year end.
-Set up U.S. employee benefits to be ACA(Affordable Care Act) compliant and work with ADP on 1095's at year end.
-Respond to internal and external inquiries.

Experience & Qualifications:
-Minimum 2 years experience in a payroll processing role.  PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) is preferred.
-Proficient in computer skills, accurate data entry and ability to work under deadlines.
-Good problem solving skills with a professional manner and ability to handle confidential informations.
-Detailed oriented, mulit-task ability with the ability to work under deadlines.
