Customer Service Representative - Admissions

Admission Services – Domestic and International

 

Location: London

Employment Group:  Support

Hours:  35 hours per week. Admissions is staffed from 8 am to 6 pm, shifts will be assigned within those hours.

Pay Details:  $24.63 per hour

Closing Date:  October 16th 2018

 

Note: This is a full-time temporary position until March 22, 2019.

 

Duties:  Under the supervision of the Senior Associate Registrar, Admission Services - Domestic & International and under the guidance of the Work Team coordinator, the incumbent provides service to applicants and students while adhering to all procedures, Ministry and College policies relating to admission and registration for programs and courses offered by the College. The incumbent responds to applicant/customer inquiries, accesses supporting documentation for admission to the College and completes registration for entry into programs and courses.

 

QUALIFICATIONS
 

  • Post-secondary 2 year diploma or equivalent in Office Administration or Business
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a computerized office, commitment to quality customer service environment within a high flow traffic area
  • Must have a high degree of accuracy, able to work under pressure during peak periods and have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with student registration/admissions system preferred
  • Able to multi task under extremely tight admission timelines

While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.
